Jumpax Basic - High Quality MDF Free-Floating Floor Levelling System Jumpax is an extremely quick and cost effect way to level your sub floor when compared with the traditional methods of screeding or ply boarding the sub floor. They will even arrange to visit you in store or on site and help train your fitters how to install….it won’t take long! • The cost of floor grade ply board continues to increase at a rapid rate and is predicted to continue increasing for some time. With the additional cost of screws and feather finish screed on top of the ply its simple no longer a cost-effective solution to level your sub floor. • Jumpax is significantly cheaper than ply and with a pack covering 2.88m2 is significantly easier to handle than a large sheet of ply board. • Unlike ply board there is no need to screw into the sub floor saving the cost on the screws and a huge amount of time not having to screw every 150mm as per British Standards. • No need to mix screed which creates dust and mess in your client home. Simply install the Jumpax and start installing the LVT directly to the top board • All you need to cut Jumpax is a Stanley knife. No need for the noisy, messy and expensive chop saws used to cut ply board • No need to pay for an expensive qualified floor fitter. Anyone can fit Jumpax…. only experienced fitters can screed and install ply. • Our customer feedback is that they use their “laminate/click fitters” to install Jumpax as they don’t cost as much as “qualified LVT fitters”. In doing so they save money and get more installation done in a month as they are not waiting for qualified fitters who are often booked up with work 3-4 weeks in advance • There is no waiting for screed to dry. Even the fastest drying screeds need at least 4 hours to dry before you can install LVT. As Jumpax is so quick to fit on an average size domestic installation after 4 hours you will have installed Jumpax and be halfway through fitting the LVT. • The boards are far smaller, lighter and more manageable than ply board. At 600mm x 1200mm they are much easier to transport, there is less waste and everything you need is contained within each neatly shrunk rapped pack • With a tog level of only 0.7 Jumpax is one of the best solutions when installing over under floor heating. Particularly if you are using a wet under floor heating system as Jumpax simply floats over the existing sub floor. • There is no need to follow the familiar pattern of screeding tomorrows job this morning and then returning to the job you screeded yesterday to start installing LVT today. With Jumpax as soon as you have installed the self-adhesive boards you can install the LVT directly to the boards straight away, without the need to screed. This allow you to start and finish two jobs in a day rather than wasting time traveling to and from projects while the screed dry. • Being able to install the LVT straightway on top of the Jumpax means far less disruption to your client who can have their installation started and finished in the same day. All to often customers have to block off a room in their home to allow the screed to dry overnight and wait for the fitter to return to install the LVT. This cause major disruption to the household particularly if it’s a kitchen, W/C or hallway. • As Jumpax is a free-floating system there is no damage to the sub floor. Jumpax has been installed over expensive ceramic and porcelain tiles with no damage at all. This means the Jumpax can be removed at any stage with minimal effort exposing the original floor finish which remained in perfect condition. • Jumpax is a perfect solution to raised access floor panels in any commercial project as there is no need to screw expensive ply to access panels. Saving you time and money, Jumpax simply floats over the panels leaving them undamaged during installation.
